Martin Allen gives us his exclusive views ahead of tomorrow's trip to Adams Park
Good afternoon. First and foremost thank you to everybody who came to support our team on Saturday. The atmosphere and noise levels were mentioned by the players in the dressing room after the game.
When you are out in the middle, and things are not always going your way, it is great when the supporters give you that lift and actually support the team.
Tomorrow we have a squad of 20 travelling to Wycombe and I feel we need some fresh legs in our team. This is our third game of the week, with one of them being played at about 3,000 degrees. We have players chomping at the bit for their turn and in my mind they have worked hard and when they have played, they have done well.
Yesterday morning I met a Gillingham season ticket holder as I went for a walk down at Whitstable. He told me to look up and wave to everybody as I walk along that touchline. Now, I do apologise if I upset anybody and if I seemed rude or big time, or non-appreciative. To be honest I find it embarrassing and it is difficult for me. I will do my best to improve.
Thank you all once again for making Saturday so special.
Take care
Martin
