The young Gills lifted the KRBS Cup winning 5-3 on penalties after the sides had shared six goals at the Belmont. Charlie Stimson (2) and Sam Fisher were on target for the Gills in the regular 90 minutes before Jack Evans, Alex Brown, Tom Murphy, Fisher and Stimson all despatched their spot-kicks .

BIRTHS…
1904 - Albert Picken
The outside-left arrived at Priestfield in May 1928 from Derby County but didn't make his Gillingham bow until a visit to Brighton in late October.
He scored just one goal in eight appearances before joining Wellington Town.
1985 - Robbie Findley
The USA international joined the Gills on loan from Nottingham Forest in September 2012 and made his debut the following day at Port Vale.
He went on to make seven appearances for the club.
