DEATHS…
1994- Dennis Hillman
Dennis signed from Colchester in August 1951 having spent five years with the U's.
The outside-right was a firm fans favourite whenever he played, and his crossing abilities created several goalscoring opportunities.
He made 21 appearances for the first team, but lost his place to Bill Burtenshaw, and after leaving Priestfield he played for Hastings United and Ramsgate Athletic.
He was 76 when he was tragically killed in a road accident just before Christmas 1994.
