See how Tommy T got on in last weekend's Medway Mile
The Medway Mile took place on Friday 27th July with a children’s race, an adult mile race and a mascot race; needless to say there was only one horse who came to mind for that job!
Gillingham Football Club representatives Charley Mitten and Nick Bearham joined Tommy T as he took part in the race.
Tommy also met up with plenty of Gills fans who took the opportunity to have their photos taken with Tommy T who also handed out Gills souvenirs and soccer school leaflets.
The race was over 50m and Tommy, amongst other mascots, sprinted from start to finish line before posing for more photos in true mascot style.
The event was a great success, with hundreds of spectators keen to celebrate the start of the London 2012 Olympic Games, alongside Tommy T.
