BIRTHS...
1972 - Michael Harle
The Gills trainee made his debut against Torquay United in January 1991 and later in the season added another appearance as a substitute.
However at the end of that season he turned down the offer of a contract at Priestfield Stadium and instead moved to the then dubbed 'Manchester United of non-league football' the ambitious Sittingbourne.
After just over two years at Central Park Millwall paid £100,000 for the left-back but he made just 22 appearances in four seasons. He also played for Bury, Barnet and Welling United.
