BIRTHS...
1929 - Peter Chiswick
The goalkeeper arrived from West Ham United in July 1956 and made his debut against Watford on the opening day of the season.
Peter spent just one season at Priestfield making a total of 14 appearances before moving on to Margate.
1947 - Henry Hill
Henry had been released by Ipswich Town when boss Andy Nelson brought him to Priestfield Stadium in July 1971.
He made his debut as a substitute for Brian Yeo in the game at Peterborough United two months later but after appearing four times and having a spell on loan at Dartford, Henry moved to Margate in the November.
In January 1972 he moved to South Africa where he was to spend seven years.
1970 - Lee Palmer
The left-back joined the Gills as a trainee in June 1987 and turned pro two years later having already made his first-team debut against Rotherham.
He went on to make 144 appearances for the club in his six seasons at the club which included a spell on loan at Sittingbourne.
After leaving for Cambridge United in August 1995 he later returned to Kent playing for both Dover Athletic and Folkestone.
