DEBUTS...

1929 He returned to Spurs after one goal in five games and then joined the O's on a permanent basis in January 2009.

A versatile performer, Charlie played on loan at both Chesterfield and Leyton Orient from Tottenham Hotspur before joining the Gills on a month's loan in August 2008 and made his debut against Accrington Stanley.

Charlie Daniels - 1986

After a £2m move to Sheffield United in July 2008, Darius struggled through injury and in the summer he joined Millwall, playing his first game in their friendly at Gillingham.

Then in August 2005, just before the start of the season and having scored 10 goals in 39 appearances, a £450,000 deal took him to Watford.

After a loan spell at Swindon at the start of the 2004-05 campaign, where he scored five goals in six games, he returned to the Gills side and was a regular in the side that were relegated at Nottingham Forest on the final day.

Darius arrived at Priestfield for a nominal fee from Reading in January 2004 however after a handful of games he was injured and forced to miss the remainder of the season.

Darius Henderson - 1981

After returning to South Wales he played rugby union for Newport and Cross Keys and following his retirement from playing he has spent 40 years involved with a local baseball team.

His second and final appearance came in the following game at Bradford City and left the club for Prescot Cables in the summer.

The striker joined the Gills from hometown club Newport County in July 1961but had to wait until February 1962 before making his debut against Mansfield Town at Priestfield.

Peter Sanders - 1942

In his one season with the Gills he scored seven goals in 26 games then in July 1937 he returned to his native Northern Ireland, signing for Glentoran.

The centre-forward arrived from Fulham in May 1936 and made his debut against Brighton & HA on the opening day of the following campaign.
