Miller went on loan to Ramsgate, Hythe Town and Tonbridge Angels during 2012-13 and was made available for transfer.

He added further appearances during the 2011-12 campaign and scored his first senior goal against Crewe at home.

Ashley is a young striker who made all the headlines in 2010-11 when he made a substitute appearance for the first-team, replacing Adebayo Akinfenwa on the hour, against Wycombe Wanderers in November aged 16.

He left Edgar Street in the summer of 2011 having played 191 games for the Bulls and after a period at Dagenham & Redbridge Richard signed for Dartford at the start of the 2012-13 campaign.

After 64 appearances, and loan spells at Bristol Rovers and Longford Town, Richard was released but quickly joined Hereford United.

He signed professional terms in February 2001 and made his debut as a substitute, replacing Mark Patterson, at Crewe Alexandra two months later.

The defender came through the ranks at Priestfield having joined the club as a 13-year-old.

1982 - Richard Rose


He was named caretaker manager when Andy Scott departed but after not being given the Bees job permanently he left the club and after a spell playing for his local side Lingfield in the Sussex County League, he was named manager of Dover Athletic in September 2011.

Spells, and some big money moves, took him to Birmingham City, Reading, Ipswich Town, Hull City, Brighton & HA and Charlton Athletic (loan) before he returned to Griffin Park in June 2010.

After finishing top scorer in 1993-94 he turned down a new contract at Priestfield and joined Brentford in a £320,000 deal.

He regularly played in the youth team and reserves before signing a professional contract in May 1992 and he made his debut came as a substitute in the home game against Wrexham four months later.

Nicky had been playing for Horley Town before arriving at Priestfield for trials in December 1991.

1973 - Nicky Forster


He scored 28 goals in 147 appearances for the Gills before moving on to Bristol Rovers, Plymouth Argyle and Torquay United where he was player-manager.

His debut at left-back came at Tranmere Rovers on the opening day of the season but he was switched to centre-forward the following season.

Mike was signed by Gillingham boss Basil Hayward in the summer of 1968 from his home-town club Carlisle United where he had come through the ranks.

He left Priestfield in June 1968 and spent the following season at Brentford before returning to Kent as manager of Folkestone the following summer.

Dennis was a member of the solid defensive rearguard that took the Gills to the Fourth Division championship in 1963-64.

His Gillingham debut came in the home game with Oldham Athletic on the first day of the following month.

The left-back had previously played for his home-town club Portsmouth as a schoolboy but moved to Priestfield in September 1958.

A club stalwart who made 355 appearances for the Gills in ten years at the club after being spotted playing football in the army.
