Family of 10-year-old Molly Robinson send their thanks
Fleetwood Town would like to express their sincere appreciation to all the Gillingham supporters who attended the recent League Two fixture at their Highbury Stadium.The respect that the travelling Gills fans showed during the moving period of applause to mark the passing of Fleetwood schoolgirl Molly Robinson was impeccable and poignant.
Sadly, ten-year-old Molly had lost her valiant battle against cancer. Fleetwood Town FC had got to know Molly and her family via fundraising efforts and many of her relations were present at the game.
Molly’s family, through the Lancashire club, would like to pass on their thanks and appreciation to the Gillingham fans for playing their part in making the tribute so memorable.
