The draw for Round One of this season’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy takes place this weekend.
The Gills will discover their First Round opponents when the draw for this season’s Johnstone's Paint Trophy takes place on Saturday 17 August.The JPT features all 48 teams from League’s One and Two and is divided into Northern and Southern draws with the Gills in the hat for the South East section.
With eight teams already receiving a bye to Round Two the Gills will definitely be drawn to face one of the following sides:
AFC Wimbledon
Brentford
Colchester United
Dagenham & Redbridge
Leyton Orient
MK Dons
Northampton Town
The draw will take place live on Sky Sports Soccer AM show at 10.30am on Saturday August 17, with the matches scheduled to be played in the week commencing September 2 2013.
