MICHAEL HARRIMAN PROFILE

We compile a detailed profile on the club's new signing

Martin Allen has bolstered his options in defence with the signing of Michael Harriman from Queens Park Rangers on an emergency 28-day loan deal.

The right-back, who has been capped by the Republic of Ireland U21 side, comes in as cover for Matt Fish who picked up an injury in the opening stages against Colchester on Saturday.

Michael has come through the youth ranks at QPR and made his debut for the club against Rochdale in the League Cup on August 23 2011, coming on as a first half substitute in place of Bradley Orr.

Four days later he made his Premiership debut, again as a substitute, after replacing Fitz Hall on the hour mark.

He also has experience of playing at MEMS Priestfield Stadium having played for Wycombe earlier this year in Sky's televised game on February 4.

Harriman played 20 games in total for Wanderers, appearing for the final time away at Barnet in a 1-0 defeat at Underhill in April.

The full-back is available for selection and has been named in the 18 to play Bristol City tomorrow night in the first round of the Capital One Cup.
