PORT VALE PROGRAMME PREVIEW

Our guide to what's coming up in tomorrow's matchday magazine...

This season’s award-winning matchday magazine is a celebration of the 100 years since New Brompton FC changed their name to Gillingham Football Club.

For every home game our designer Paul Turvey has produced a unique cover, taking inspiration from a classic issue from the Gills first hundred seasons.

For tomorrow's top of the table clash between the Gills and Port Vale we take inspiration from the 70's with a cover based on the one used when the Gills met Vale at Priestfield in March 1975.

Inside tomorrow’s programme you can turn to the centre pages for an eight page exclusive souvenir mini programme from that season.

We've also got the thoughts of Chairman Paul Scally and Manager Martin Allen on Gills new boys Leon Legge and Steven Gregory, plus our winning start to 2013.

Phill Catterick talks exclusively to midfield dynamo Charlie Lee, while striker Ben Strevens answers our quickfire questions in On The Spot.

The centenary celebrations continue with Chris Lynham’s memorable match feature which covers the Gills 1950 return to the Football League and Richard Day looks back on Keith Peacock's 1986/87 play-off campaign.

Andrew Ford continues his series charting Gills progress against the Premiership with this week’s article focusing on our meetings with Champions Manchester City.

All this and much, much more, all for just £3.00. So pick up your copy at the GFC Megastore today, or from sellers all around the ground tomorrow.
