BRADFORD CITY
Following the departure of Matt Duke, who both played and coached last season, to Northampton Town, Bantams boss Phil Parkinson has appointed former Halifax Town keeper Lee Butler as the clubs new goalkeeping coach.
BRENTFORD
The Bees have signed 37-year-old Javi Venta on a one-year deal after more than a decade with Spanish side Villarreal who he left at the end of last season.
BRISTOL CITY
As expected last week the swap deal involving Ipswich Town forward Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and Robins winger Paul Anderson has gone ahead. The Tractor Boys paid £1.4m to Arsenal for the 22-year-old in July 2011 but was not part of Mick McCarthy’s plans. Anderson. Also 22, made 30 appearances for City last season following his move from Nottingham Forest.
City boss Sean O’Driscoll has also signed Maidstone-born midfielder Scott Wagstaff on a three-year deal. The 23-year-old was a free agent following his release by Charlton Athletic.
The Robins have also confirmed that want-away winger Albert Adomah has handed in a transfer request. An unnamed club have recently made a couple of unsuccessful bids for the 25-year-old Ghana international.
COLCHESTER UNITED
Central defender Yado Mambo, released by Charlton Athletic at the end of last season, has been training with U’s as the club run the rule over him. The 21-year-old, a one-time Ebbsfleet United loanee, was on loan at Shrewsbury Town late last season.
COVENTRY CITY
A temporary agreement has been agreed with Northampton Town, and provisionally ratified by the Football League, for City to play home games at Sixfields for the next three seasons. Sky Blues' Chief Executive Tim Fisher has stressed that the move to play games there was part of a bigger plan to develop its own stadium in the Coventry City area.
With a number of their home games clashing with those of the Cobblers, who naturally have priority, Coventry have already had to switch a number of games, mostly to the Sunday, with quite a few more likely to follow.
LEYTON ORIENT
Defender Mathieu Baudry, who arrived from AFC Bournemouth last summer, has penned a two-year contract extension with the O’s.
NOTTS COUNTY
Danny Haynes, the former Ipswich Town striker, has moved to Meadow Lane on a two-year contract. The 25-year-old was released by Charlton Athletic at the end of last season.
OLDHAM ATHLETIC
Midfielder Anton Rodgers, son of Liverpool boss Brendan, has joined the Latics on a one-year deal having been released by Brighton & HA.
PRESTON NORTH END
Former England international striker Kevin Davies, now 36, has put pen to paper on a two-year deal at Deepdale and has been given the number nine shirt.
Fellow forward Iain Hume, who hasn’t played for the club since April 2012, has come off the transfer list at Deepdale.
SWINDON TOWN
Following on from the arrival of Jack Barthram, Grant Hall and Massimo Luongo , two more Tottenham Hotspur players have arrived at the County Ground this week. Right-back Nathan Byrne, who was on loan at the club last season, has joined on a permanent basis, penning a two-year deal, while midfielder Alex Pritchard has come in on a season-long loan.
TRANMERE ROVERS
Goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams has signed a new two-year contract at Prenton Park. The 26-year-old has made 91 appearances for the club since joining from Rochdale in August 2011.
WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS
It has been reported that Wolves are tracking Manchester City youngster Jeremy Helan who is thought to be surplus to requirements at the Etihad Stadium. The 21-year-old spent much of last season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday where he has been linked with a permanent move.

Gavin Tomlin grabbed a double which were added to by Tom Pope and Louis Dodds against Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South club Newcastle Town at the Lyme Valley Stadium.

Youngsters Romello Nangle and Tyrell Waite plus two trialists found the net against the Finnish opponents.

Summer signing Ryan Lowe helped himself to four of the seven first-half goals as Rovers eased to victory over the Evo-Stik League Northern Premier - First Division North side. Liam Davies (2), Joe Thompson, Abdulai Baggie and Jake Kirby completed the scoring at Kirklands.
