Help The GFC Gems support Winnie
When they are not performing here at MEMS Priestfield Stadium the GFC Gems are always keen to get involved with and support Gills fans in the community.
Last Sunday the Gems were at the STC Sports Club in New Eltham to show their support for two year-old Winnie who was recently diagnosed with leukemia and already lives with down syndrome.
Winnie’s dream is to go to Disney Land so the Gems went down to entertain her and her friends and show support for Winnie’s fundraising event.
GFC Gem Shannon said “We performed two special routines and presented Winnie with her own Gems pom-poms.
“It was lovely to be able to play a part in her event. It’s been an honour and a privilege to be part of the day.”
“We’ve found out that the day raised nearly £1700, so a huge thanks to everyone that donated”
