Real 60 take a tour of the facilities prior to Accrington game
In the build-up to Saturday’s home fixture against Accrington Stanley a group of players and parents representing local grassroots team Real 60 came to visit the MEMS Priestfield Stadium for a tour of the club’s fantastic off-field facilities.
The group were greeted at the entrance to the Great Hall in snowy conditions by Community coaches Adam Lawrence, Nick Bearham and Nick Powell who welcomed them to the home of the Gills, many for the first time.
On their travels they were able to see the excellent banqueting and conferencing facilities that are open on a match day including the Piano Bar, Hospitality Boxes and the Boardroom.
The Players’ Entrance was the next stop as the group were shown around the Players’ Lounge and Games Room, before having the chance to sit in the manager’s chair in the media centre.
Before braving the conditions again to watch the game, the group were able to fill their stomachs with a meal in one of the Hospitality Suites.
The group had a great time seeing the stadium and were happy to leave having seen the Gills win another three points after a 1-0 win.
