npower Football League Community Cup

This Saturday we will be welcoming our npower Football League Community Cup winners and runners-up to the game.

This Saturday we will be welcoming our npower Football League Community Cup winners and runners-up to MEMS Priestfield Stadium.

Our Girls Cup winners are from Rainham School for Girls, our Kids Cup winners are from Minterne Community Junior School and our runners-up are from Westlands School and St Thomas of Canterbury RC Primary School.

A presentation will be taking place during half-time in the Plymouth match to present the schools with their trophies and certificates.

Since winning the Girls Cup back in November, Rainham Girls have reached the finals after winning the Area and then the Regional Finals. The girls will now face the Woodlands School who are representing Derby County F.C. when they head off to Wembley on April 7 to play before the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Kids Cup winners Minterne will be looking to replicate the Girls performance when they travel to AFC Wimbledon for the Regional Finals of the tournament this Thursday 14 March and if successful on the day they too will be playing at Wembley in the National League 2 Final.

Good luck to both teams from all at Gillingham FC and we will let you know how they get on.
