BIRTHS...
1936 - Bob Taylor
As a youngster Bob played for Croydon Schools, Surrey Boys and London Youth before spending time at both Fulham and Crystal Palace as an amateur.
Following a trial he joined the Gills in September 1956 but had to wait until the trip to Norwich City in March 1957, his 21st birthday, before making his debut.
He went on to make 31 appearances, netting five times, over the next couple of seasons before moving to Millwall in August 1959.
