BIRTHS...
1972 - Lindon Guscott
The former West Ham United schoolboy joined Gillingham as a trainee in the summer of 1988.
Great goalscoring form for the youth team saw Keith Burkinshaw give him his first team debut, albeit as a substitute in a 6-1 mauling by Wolves at Molineux in March 1989.
Unfortunately in his second appearance, this time as a sub at Fulham, he sustained a broken leg and the following season suffered a second break in a reserve friendly.
He never played for the first team again but did appear for a number of Kent clubs including Tonbridge, Sittingbourne, Chatham Town, Gravesend & Northfleet, Faversham Town and Sheppey United
1976 - Barry Miller
The young central defender had been playing non-league football before Peter Taylor brought him to Priestfield from Farnborough Town in August 1999.
He made his debut, the first of just seven appearances, against Wycombe Wanderers at home later that month.
Barry went on loan to Woking before returning to non-league soccer with Doncaster Rovers who paid £10,000 in September 2000, and later had spells at Hucknall Town, Leigh Genesis and Burton Albion.
1981 - JLloyd Samuel
The Aston Villa full-back had made twenty-odd appearances for the Premiership side before joining the Gills on loan in October 2001.
A week after appearing as a substitute at Everton for the Villains he made his Gillingham debut in a 2-0 home win over Walsall.
He returned to Villa Park after eight games and the England under-21 international went on to make 199 appearances in total for Villa.
Spells at Bolton Wanderers and Cardiff City (loan) followed and JLloyd is currently playing for Iran Pro League outfit Esteghlal Tehran.
