Gillingham Football Clubare delighted to announce that our bid for Girls Centre of Excellence status has been successful. We will continue to, in an exclusive countrywide group of organizations operating in the FA Centre of Excellence Programme.run age groups from U-9s to U-17s
Director of Girls and Women’s Football at Gillingham FC, Adam Lawrence commented “We are delighted to be able to continue with the Centre for the 2013/14 season, and to commit to the continued development of Girls Football in the South East.
Gillingham Football Club and all of the staff at the Centre have been working hard to improve the provision of Girls football and the standard of the players at the centre over recent seasons. It is great to be in a position to continue this.”
The centre will be holding trials for the new season in June, and with some exciting changes in staffing at the centre we look forward to the new season with plenty of optimism.
