Congratulations to GFC Girls Centre of Excellence goalkeeper Katie Startup
Congratulations to Katie Startup who has been selected for the England U15s Training Camp.Katie, who is our current Goalkeeper for the U15s and Player’s Player of the Season, has been called up for the training camp taking place during Whitsun half-term.
Girls have been selected from the 31 Centres of Excellence up and down the country and Katie is one of only 22 girls invited to the training camp being held at St George’s Park.
The full programme for the week will be announced once the girls arrive, but during the week they will be put through their paces by England Head coach Kay Cossington and her Assistant Emma Jenks and GK Coach Mark Phillips. This is a great opportunity for Katie, who has been outstanding this season, to show off her abilities and potential on the International stage.
