Gillingham FC are teaming up with North West Kent College this year to offer two coaching courses tailored towards 16-19 year old students looking to enter the world of football coaching.Based here at MEMS Priestfield Stadium, both courses are ideal for students who have just completed their GCSE’s or for coaches wanting to get back into education and specialise in a football and coaching skills field.
What’s more both courses are free if you are aged between 16-18 on September 1 2013. The courses offer graduates the opportunity to continue their education at University or progress into employment in the sports and leisure industry.
There will also be the potential for students to gain much needed experience with the Gills community team by coaching in local schools and GFC soccer schools.
