MORE FRIENDLIES CONFIRMED

Two more pre-season games added to the list

We bring you further news on the pre-season friendly front with another two games being confirmed, taking the current tally to five.

The first of these is on Saturday July 6th when the Gills will be making the now familiar trip to Hayes Lane where they will be facing Bromley – kick-off here will be 3.00pm.

Last season Jack Evans was on target as a young Gillingham team lost 3-1 to the Blue Square South side in the Second Round of the Kent Senior Cup, while there have been friendlies there in 2011, 2010, 2009 and 2006.

It was also in November 2006 that the team’s met at Priestfield in an FA Cup First Round tie which the Gills won 4-1 thanks to two goals apiece from Mark Bentley and Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu.

Then on Saturday July 27th there will be a journey around the M25 to Surrey where Blue Square Premier Woking will be the opponents at their Kingfield Stadium home - again this will be a 3.00pm kick-off.
