PALACE COMING TO TOWN

The Gills are set to face Crystal Palace in pre-season

Gillingham could possibly be facing Premier League opposition in a pre-season game here at MEMS Priestfield Stadium after agreeing a date with Crystal Palace.

Ian Holloway’s side, who face Watford in the Championship play-off final at Wembley on May 27, will make the short journey from South London on Tuesday July 23rd – this game will kick off at 7.30pm.

This comes just three days after Millwall will be the visitors to Priestfield.

The last time we met the Eagles was in a friendly at Selhurst Park in August 2009 when Mark Stimson’s side won 1-0 thanks to a 61st minute goal from Jack Payne.

We await ticket prices etc for both home friendlies so keep an eye on the official website for further details.
