After the game Taylor said: “There were some good bits and some disappointing bits which, I think, is normal over 90 minutes of play.


“I think we played against a team who have two capable strikers who caused a lot of problems but overall I was very pleased and, at times, passed the ball well and created ourselves a couple of decent chances and on another day they would have gone in.


“We passed with a bit of patience and at times we could have gone forward a little bit quicker but we have had three days putting certain things in to them and, in that respect, I thought they did great.


“A point would have meant a much happier evening because I think the way the players played they could have deserved one.


“Some of the players will be disappointed with the way they played and others will be delighted. Some will learn from certain things that didn’t go so well and we will look at it.”
