Tickets for Gillingham's second round Capital One Cup tie against Premier League side Newcastle United are now on general sale.They went on sale to season ticket holders on Sunday, but as of 9am today supporters have been snapping up their seats for one of the biggest games played at MEMS Priestfield Stadium in recent history.
Gills advanced to the next stage following a 2-1 win over Yeovil at Huish Park last Tuesday, and will now welcome a club who haven't visited MEMS Priestfield Stadium since 1977.
Alan Pardew's men began their Premier League campaign with a 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Manchester City, but Gills fans could see a number of new signings for the Toon Army, including a host of international players.
