Everyone at Gillingham Football Club is fully supporting the efforts to raise money for Ruby Young and the Neuroblastoma Children's Cancer Alliance
This afternoon we are delighted to welcome the family of Ruby Young to MEMS Priestfield Stadium.Ruby is just two years old and earlier in the year was diagnosed with stage four, high risk neuroblastoma – an aggressive childhood cancer which is rare and difficult to treat.
Her story has provoked huge media interest and with the help of close friend Anita they have raised over £100,000 for the Neuroblastoma Children's Cancer Alliance UK.
Today we have a bucket collection at Priestfield as we look to raise further funds for Ruby and other children who suffer with the same problem.
If you would like to know more about Ruby's story, and donate to the cause, please click here to go to her JustGiving page.
Her Facebook page can be accessed here, with her Twitter feed available here.
Everyone at Gillingham supports the fundraising campaign and we look forward to seeing Ruby and her family at the ground.
