GILLS SET FOR WELLING CLASH

Gillingham FC to field two 45 minute sides once more as they prepare to take on Welling in their third match of pre-season

The Gills will continue their pre-season campaign on Saturday afternoon when they take on Welling United at Park View Road.

Peter Taylor's side have won their first two matches against Folkestone and Bromley respectively and will be looking to make it a hat-trick at the weekend, with the Manager saying he will field two further 45 minute sides.

However Aaron Morris and Josh Pritchard remain doubtful and their condition is being monitored closely before they are selected to play.

Gary Borrowdale and Josh Stanford are among the traveling party and so will have another chance to prove themselves in search of a contract.

Taylor said: "I'm looking to take 22 players; it will be a good test and they are a good Football team.

"They did well against Charlton in pre-season so we are expecting a very hard game, but it's one we are looking forward to."

Kick-Off is at 3pm.
