GILLS TRIO GO ON LOAN

Gillingham FC have allowed Joe Carter, Callum Davies and Sam Muggleton to leave Priestfield on loan for the rest of the season

Three players have today left Gillingham FC to gain some valuable first team experience on loan.



Callum Davies, a product of the club’s youth system, has joined Skrill South side Dover Athletic until the end of the season.

He will be reunited with fellow centre-back Tom Wynter, the two of them having played for the Gills youth team in the past.


Sam Muggleton, who has two first team appearances to his name, has joined Barnet on a youth loan until the end of the season.


Sam, the son of Goalkeeping Coach Carl, is one of Martin Allen’s first signings at the Hive and is eligible for the weekend’s game away at promotion chasing Cambridge.

Finally Joe Carter, who has featured several times for the development squad this season, has joined Canvey Island for the remainder of the campaign.

Elsewhere Devante McKain remains on loan with Skrill Premier side Bromley; he has just over a week to run on his initial one month deal.
