Fixtures for the 2014/15 Sky Bet League One season will be announced on Wednesday 18 June.The full line up of teams who will compete in the division has now been confirmed, and Gills will discover who they will play in their first game of the campaign two weeks prior to returning for pre-season.
Gillingham have had home fixtures on the opening day for the last five years, and no doubt fans will be hoping for another curtain raiser at MEMS Priestfield Stadium as Peter Taylor's men look to start in the best possible way.
The club's last away game on the first day of the season was against Bournemouth in August 2008 - Gary Mulligan snatching a point right at the death following Darren Anderton's opener before half time.
