COACHES OPEN EVENING

Gillingham FC's Community Trust are to hold open evenings for coaches and volunteers of grassroots clubs

Gillingham FC’s Girls Centre of Excellence, the only Centre of Excellence in Kent, are holding a number of Open Evenings this season for coaches and volunteers of grassroots clubs to find out more about the Centre of Excellence programme.

The evenings are open to coaches and volunteers from grass roots and youth football clubs and are all FREE to attend.

Our first Open Evening was held at the start of the month and we are now preparing for our second evening taking place on Monday 17th November. 

The evening will be hosted by our U17s Manager, Pete Sayer who will deliver a session on ‘Developing Attacking Principals with Young Players’ with our U13 squad. Coaches will have the opportunity to go pitchside and ask questions about the session and topic.

Our last session will take place next year and will again open to coaches and volunteers from grass roots and youth football clubs and will offer attendees the opportunity to view sessions, ask questions regarding the evening’s topic and also find out more about the FA talent pathway.
