Gillingham defender Devante McKain has joined former club Maidenhead United on a short term loan deal
Devante McKain has re-joined Maidenhead United on a three month loan deal.The centre-back joined Gillingham from the Magpies in November 2012 and signed a new one year contract at MEMS Priestfield Stadium in the summer, but returns to York Road as the club look to bolster their defensive options in the Conference South.
Devante has made one appearance for the first team this season, coming on at half time during the Gills 1-0 win over Stevenage in the first round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy at the Lamex Stadium.
Prior to that he has featured in two other games - once in a league fixture against Crawley last season, with his debut coming away to Burton on the final day of the 2012/13 campaign.
He has signed for Maidenhead in time to be eligible for the club's away fixture against Concord Rangers this Saturday.
