Peter Taylor could welcome back Captain Doug Loft for the visit of the Posh – the midfielder has been out for a few weeks due to an Achilles injury but the Manager hinted he could be available.
Danny Kedwell’s condition was assessed on Monday and he could also make a return to the squad.
Gavin Hoyte will serve his final match of a three game ban which he incurred following his sending off against Stevenage in the JPT.
Stuart Nelson is likely to be out for at least another month.
As for the visitors, they will check on the fitness of left back Kgosi Ntlhe.
He has been nursing a groin injury recently and missed the goalless draw with Notts County at the weekend. Manager Darren Ferguson recently said he has `a chance` of being fit for the game.
Winger Jon Taylor has suffered no reaction since returning from injury, although his knee problem is continually being monitored.
Michael Bostwick and Erhun Oztumer are expected to be out for about another three weeks, while Nathaniel Mendez-Laing remains out for another two weeks.

Peter Taylor knows what to expect when Peterborough visit MEMS Priestfield Stadium tomorrow night having watched them play recently, but he says his players are ready for the challenge.
He said: “They are a good side and playing well at the moment – Darren is building another team and it will be a big test but I am convinced we will start much better on Tuesday than we did at Oldham.”
Darren Ferguson said: “Home fans demand that their team goes forward and that could be to our advantage.
"Gillingham have a threat up front with Cody McDonald, who plays off the shoulder of the last defender, and Jermaine McGlashan who is very quick, but as usual we will concentrate on getting our game right.”

The two sides last met at London Road earlier this year when Posh secured a comfortable 2-0 victory thanks to goals from Britt Assombalonga and Tommy Rowe.
In the reverse fixture Assombalonga snatched a point late on for the visitors in a 2-2 draw with Joe Martin and Cody McDonald having given Gills a second half lead.
In total the two clubs have clashed on 40 occasions – of those Gillingham have 13 victories, Peterborough have 17 and the remaining 10 games have been draws.
