HALF TIME SHOOT OUT IS BACK

Gillingham FC's ever popular half time shoot out returns on Saturday when regining Champions Featherby Junior School face St.Margaret's CE Junior School

Featherby Junior School face St Margaret’s CE Junior School in the opening fixture of the 2014/15 half time shoot-out competition this Saturday as the Gills take on Walsall.

The two teams, who have competed in the competition in previous years, will be eager to hold their nerve and convert from the spot to secure their place in the next round.

Reigning champions Featherby have a proven track record of gifted goal scorers after they won the shoot-out competition last season, beating Davington Primary school in the final back in May.

The half time shoot-out competition will see a total of 16 local schools compete over the season for a place in the final In May. Each player is allowed seven seconds to convert from the penalty spot by either taking a ‘first time’ shot or by dribbling the ball closer for a more accurate finish.

We wish the two schools the best of luck on Saturday and encourage Gills fans to show their support by cheering them on during the half time interval.
