DAVIES JOINS BROMLEY ON LOAN

Gills centre back joins Bromley on short term loan contract

Callum Davies has joined Vanarama National League side Bromley on a month's loan.

Callum, 22, hasn't featured in Gillingham's first team since October 2014 and shortly after joined Dover Athletic where he played three games before suffering an injury which kept him out of action for the remainder of the season.

He was an unused substitute on Tuesday night as Justin Edinburgh's side defeated Plymouth Argyle 2-1, but in search of first team Football he has traveled to Hayes Lane and is eligible to play away against Grimsby today.

The Ravens secured promotion last season after being crowned champions of the Conference South, and narrowly lost to Gillingham 2-1 in a pre-season friendly last month.

In total Davies has featured 39 times for the Gills, including 18 appearances during the 2012-13 campaign as the club secured the League Two title.
