Kick It Out is looking for people aged between 16-21 to join a new group that will advise the organisation on how to help promote the messages of equality and inclusion.
The voluntary role will see chosen applicants gain invaluable experience and skills working for a charitable organisation. It will also see them take on the roles of advisors and ambassadors for Kick It Out.
The exciting new initiative aims to improve Kick It Out’s engagement with young people by encouraging members to play an active role in the organisation’s work and develop as future leaders for equality and diversity in football.
Kick It Out is looking for individuals who are:
• Passionate about equality
• Interested in football
• Willing to share opinions and ideas
• Looking to become future leaders of equality in football
You will gain:
• Experience of the football and equalities industries
• Contacts
• Travel expenses for around the country
• Training
• Opportunities to attend football events
• Leadership skills
The group will meet up to four times a year to guide Kick It Out on specific projects, events and initiatives. Members will also be given the opportunity to attend training and development days.
The application process will close on 20 December 2015. Selected candidates will be interviewed for the role in January 2016. The role is voluntary but Kick It Out will cover travel and out-of-pocket costs for members.
