Management Comments:

Justin Edinburgh: “I know Karl well and I know he was there with his staff assessing us so I’m sure he will be making his players fully aware of what we are about and the threats we pose.

“On the other side we’ve got to show them the respect they deserve, they’ve had a good season and are one of the top teams in the division.”

Karl Robinson: “He [Justin] is a good friend of mine and I know that he’s somebody who has had to work harder than most.

“What he did at Rushden & Diamonds was incredible considering all that went on there. He then went into Newport County, who were in the Conference, and got them promoted and then competing in League 2.

“I went to see Gillingham play on Tuesday and I was able to wish him luck. I was also speaking to the Gillingham chairman after the game and I told him that he’s got a great one in Justin, both as a manager and as a person.”
