Midfielder Michael Doughty has returned to parent club Queens Park Rangers following his loan spell at Priestfield
Queens Park Rangers have recalled Michael Doughty from his loan spell with Gillingham.The 24-year-old midfielder signed on an initial one month emergency loan on October 24, which was extended in early November until January 24.
However the Hoops have decided to take Doughty back to Loftus Road, meaning he will be unavailable for tomorrow’s League One game against Crewe.
Doughty made 13 appearances for the Gills, his debut coming in the 1-1 draw against Crawley at MEMS Priestfield Stadium on October 25 with Leon Legge grabbing an equalizer for the home side just before the break.
Michael’s last game was on Tuesday night against Bristol City in the JPT, setting up the opening goal of the match which was scored by Cody McDonald.
