St. Mary's Primary School in Dover recently welcomed the GFC Community Trust during their assigned sports week
Gillingham FC Community Trust was recently asked to run some Football Workshops for the pupils of St Mary’s Primary School in Dover over two days, as part of their Sports Week.Over the two days 260 children took part in workshops run by Community Coaches Barry Cooper, Cori Daniels and Herbie Tyler. Each class was spilt in to two for 20 minute sessions with our coaches where they took part in team games and asked to develop their own exercises.
The first day included a lunchtime football session for the Year 3 and 4 pupils, while day two saw Barry deliver an assembly to the school on how to be more active.
Thank you to St Mary’s for inviting our coaches along, they had a great time and the children worked very hard over both days and were a pleasure to coach.
We look forward to continuing working with St Marys in the new academic year.
