POMPEY COMING TO PRIESTFIELD

League Two Portsmouth to visit Priestfield in pre-season friendly on Saturday (3pm)

Gillingham are back in action on Saturday afternoon when they welcome Portsmouth to MEMS Priestfield Stadium.

Paul Cook's side visit Kent with Justin Edinburgh having one last chance to assess his first team squad prior to next weekend's opening Sky Bet League One fixture against Sheffield United.

Cody McDonald (knee) and Doug Loft (calf) are likely to sit out while Josh Wright could feature with the midfielder having trained with the club this week.

This will be the second home match for the Gills in the space of four days having lost to Brighton 2-1 on Wednesday evening, Bradley Dack getting the goal for the hosts.

Tickets for the match remain available however, similarly to Wednesday's fixture, the Rainham End is unavailable to home supporters.
