GARMSTON RETURNS TO GILLS

Bradley Garmston has agreed a three year deal to return to Gillingham FC

Gillingham have bolstered their defensive options with the signing of Bradley Garmston from West Brom on a three year contract.

Garmston returns to MEMS Priestfield Stadium following a successful loan spell last season where the defender made nine appearances and scored one goal, that coming in the 4-2 victory over MK Dons.

He returned to the Hawthorns at the end of February through injury, but having been released by the Premier League club he has now agreed a deal to return to Priestfield.

After signing his deal the player told the club’s official website: “I’m very pleased to have agreed a deal that enables me to return to the club and I am now looking forward to the season ahead.”

Justin Edinburgh said: “I’m very happy to have secured Bradley on a three year deal; he was impressive during his loan spell with us and I have no doubt he will be a valuable asset to us now he’s with us permanently.

“He’s a left back who is just as good getting forward as he is defending and I look forward to working with him during pre-season and beyond.”

Garmston joins the club on the same day as striker Ben Williamson who has agreed a two year deal.
