Gillingham Football Club's Community Trust is currently looking to recruit a number of Team Leaders to work on our National Citizen Service (NCS) project NCS Team Leader.UK Youth, NCS programme provides young people from all backgrounds, and with varying abilities, with the opportunity and support to take on new challenges, learn new skills and make a difference.
As summer approaches, we will be taking our participants away to a residential setting to take part in a number of outdoor, team-building activities and to assist in the delivery of the residential trips, both home and away, we are looking to recruit 10 Team Leader posts.
Team Leaders will support the NCS Coordinator to develop and coordinate participants to ensure they successfully work through each stage of the programme to ensure they reach graduation.
Team Leaders will assist to plan and deliver a number of induction events prior to taking participants away to the residential setting.
Whilst the Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the risk management of the programme, the Team Leader will play a key role in contributing towards this process.
Gillingham Community Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and as such all successful applicants will be expected to undergo the Enhanced DBS Disclosure process.
Hours will be varied subject to residential and social action project.
Pay would be subject to qualifications and experience.
