AMINE LINGANZI LEAVES GILLINGHAM FC

Amine Linganzi has today left MEMS Priestfield Stadium with immediate effect

Gillingham FC and Amine Linganzi have mutually agreed to terminate the player's contract with immediate effect.

The 25-year-old midfielder has been limited to 28 appearances in all competitions due to injury since joining the club in the summer of 2013 on a two-year deal from Accrington Stanley.

Amine hasn't featured for the first team since December 28 when the Gills were defeated by Bristol City 3-1 at MEMS Priestfield Stadium, with hamstring and groin problems forcing him to sit out since the turn of the Year.

He scored one goal during his time at Gillingham, that coming in a 3-1 defeat to Crewe at Priestfield on March 22, 2014.

The club would like to place on record its gratitude to Amine for his services while at Gillingham, and we wish him well for the future.
