Gillingham Chairman reveals his thoughts as Cody McDonald signs a new two year contract
I am delighted to advise that after a month of negotiation Cody McDonald has put pen to paper and re-signed a new contract keeping him at Priestfield Stadium for at least another two years after this current season.Cody has been a model professional during his time with us, and is much liked by all as a player and individual, it is therefore very exciting news that he will remain with us as Justin and his management team build on the young team whom we hope will drive the Club forward with some very exciting times ahead.
I know I speak for all Gillingham supporters in thanking Cody for staying with us, for his show of loyalty to the Club, and we all look forward to watching him do what he does best on the field for at least another two goal scoring seasons.
