EDINBURGH TO SERVE ONE MATCH TOUCHLINE BAN

Gills Manager to sit in Directors Box for the game against Doncaster after being handed a one match touchline ban

Justin Edinburgh will this afternoon serve a one match touchline ban after being charged by the FA during the week.

This comes as a result of the Manager's actions following the 2-2 draw against Yeovil a fortnight ago.

In his programme notes he said: "I think I said enough about the incident but unfortunately the ref felt it was appropriate to report me, I was charged by the FA after a personal hearing at Wembley on Wednesday and you have to accept the charge so unfortunately I’ll have to watch with the Chairman in the stands but I have great belief in Hess and Steve.

"I’m only one flight above them and I’ll have access to speak to them and I’m still allowed to be with the players before, at half time and then after the game.

"We’ll get that out the way but I’m disappointed as I thought it was a bit harsh but, we have to move on and on we go."
