Mark Patterson's Gillingham side will take on Margate for a place in the Kent Senior Cup Final on Monday night
Gillingham are back in action at Priestfield tonight when they take on Margate in the semi-final of the Kent Senior Cup (7pm).Mark Patterson is expected to name a strong XI for the tie and he says the side are determined to go all the way, however they will give their opposition the respect they deserve.
He said: "There is no such thing as a banker home win in fixtures like this; we are expecting a really hard game and they have a good setup with a managerial team with plenty of experience.
"It will be the same group of lads that have been playing usually and it's a good chance for them to play in an important fixture.
"If you don't want to win the competition then don't enter it. We want to get to the Final if we can and win it because it's a prestigious award in the county and we haven't done it for a while.
"We won't take Margate lightly and we'll need to be at the peak of our game to get through."
Kick-Off is at 7pm with tickets at the following prices:
Adults - £10
Concessions - £5
