Gills defender to gain first team experience on loan with Maidstone
Josh Staunton has joined Maidstone United on loan until April 26.The Gills defender, who has Captained the development squad on several occasions this season, has recently recovered from injury and could feature in tonight's game away at Grays Athletic if eligible.
The centre-back has been included in two first team squads during the 2014/15 campaign, being an unused substitute in the home game against Preston and the trip to Crewe on January 10.
Staunton has come through the youth ranks at Priestfield and will now get the chance to impress at the Gallagher Stadium as Maidstone look to clinch the Ryman Premier League title.
Midfielder Charlie Webster has also gone out on loan, joining Tonbridge Angels until April 25.
Charlie has been a regular in the Kent Senior Cup and U21 Premier League Cup squads this season and, like Josh, will be out to gain regular first team Football.
