DACK: I OWE MY AWARDS TO PLAYERS AND STAFF

Gills midfielder thanks the players and staff at Priestfield after scooping three awards at Player of the Year event

Bradley Dack says he owes his successes this season to the hard work of the staff and his team-mates at Priestfield.

The 21-year-old scooped three awards at the Player of the Year event on Sunday evening, including the Players’ Player trophy and Dack thanked everyone at the Gills who has helped him progress through the system.

Speaking to the club website he said: “It was amazing but I couldn’t have done it without any of the boys and the staff who have helped me through – I am nothing without them and I owe these awards to them and I appreciate the work of my team mates.

“The highlight of my season was probably getting to 100 games and scoring 10 goals. Hopefully next season we can kick on and finish higher than we have during this campaign.

“We will have a good break and we’re looking forward to next season under the new gaffer because we’ve got a young and exciting team and with a few additions we can do some positive things.”
