More apprenticeship opportunities available in the GFC Community Trust
Gillingham Football Club Community Sports & Education Trust are looking to recruit three full time Apprentices – Teaching Assistant & Sports Coach, to work at, St Peter’s Infant School in Rochester, Wingham Primary School in Canterbury and Westlands Primary School in Sittingbourne and one full time Apprentice – Teaching Assistant, to work at St Richards Catholic Primary School in Dover.
Working in partnership with St Peter’s Infant School, Wingham Primary School and Westlands Primary School and St Richards Catholic Primary School we are looking for enthusiastic and trustworthy members of staff to join our successful Community Trust.
The successful candidates will work as an Apprentice Teaching Assistant and Sports Coach on a variety of GFC Community Trust activities, including a specific school based placement at St Peter’s Infant School, Wingham Primary School and Westlands Primary School and St Richards Catholic Primary School, Gillingham FC Community Trust based activities.
Hours are determined by the partner school and will total 30 hours a week during the school term time with work on other GFCCT initiatives during school holidays.
Pay will be £100 per week (apprentice wage).
Key skills and experience required;
• The ability to work effectively with others as a competent team member.
• Previous involvement with your PE and School Sports network.
• Computer literacy/word processing skills.
• Good time management skills.
