COACHING VACANCIES AT PRIESTFIELD

The GFC Community Trust is currently looking for part time coaches with a view to starting immediately

Gillingham Football Club’s Community Trust want coaches with a positive attitude to help support and develop our expanding Sports Programmes within the Kent area. We aim to deliver high quality football and sport based activities in a variety of environments including schools, colleges, local clubs and youth clubs.

The positions would involve coaching a range of children aged 5 to 15 years old within the environments mentioned above. Hours required would be between 9am- 4:30pm, no day will be the same. 

With these flexible hours you can still work around other activities you may also do without having to give anything up! This also includes exciting events over half terms and school holidays. These sessions will include Breakfast, Lunchtime and After-School Clubs as well as In-School PE and PSHE Lessons. 

Rate of pay £15 per hour – Level 3 Qualified
Rate of pay £12 per hour – Level 2 Qualified 
Rate of pay subject to experience – Level 1 Qualified
Example Hours: 3.30- 4.30pm Monday – Friday

Key skills and experience required:

• FA Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football or working towards the qualification
• FA level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football
• FA First Aid Qualification
• Knowledge and understanding of child protection issues including holding a current FA Safeguarding Children Workshop certificate
• Enhanced FA DBS (Disclosure and Baring Service)
• Own transport essential 
• Flexible
• Have or working towards FA Youth Modules
