GILLS IN YOUTH CUP ACTION TONIGHT

Gills to play under the floodlights this evening in FA Youth Cup (7pm)

Gillingham will play Ebbsfleet United in the first round of the FA Youth Cup this evening at MEMS Priestfield Stadium.

Ebbsfleet qualified for the first round proper last Monday evening with a 3-1 victory over Maidstone at Stonebridge Road.

Last season the Youth team, then under the management of Steve Lovell, defeated Eastleigh 4-1 in the first round before being eliminated 2-1 by AFC Wimbledon.

Adults can gain entry tonight for £5, while Concessions are just £2. A free match programme will be made available.

Mark Patterson said: "We are very much looking forward to the game and the players are excited at the prospect of playing on the main pitch.

"The FA Youth Cup is a great competition to play in and it provides a platform for both teams."

Kick Off is at 7pm. Darren Oldaker and Noel M'Bo are both in the match squad.
